Salary

Starting Deputy Base Pay

  • $66,300 a year (as of 2024 contract)

2 Years Base Pay
Earn an educational incentive of:

  • 12% with 60 college credits = $79,072
  • 18% with Bachelor's degree = $83,304
  • 22% with Master's degree = $86,112

5 Years Base Pay

  • 60 college credits and longevity = $88,315
  • Bachelor's degree and longevity = $92,917
  • Master's degree and longevity = $95,998
    • (26% with Master's degree in a Supervisory position at the DCSO)

Top Deputy Base Pay Including Longevity and Educational Incentive Pay

  • 60 college credits = $ 107,932
  • Bachelor's Degree  = $113,041
  • Master's Degree = $116,434

EDUCATION & OTHER PAY

Effective after an employee completes their 2 year probationary period.

Associate’s Degree (or equivalent): 12%

Bachelor’s Degree: 18%

Master’s Degree: 22%

 

Other Pay and Compensation:

Annual $750 uniform allowance

New Hire $1000 Uniform allowance

Shift Differential Pay for undesirable hours (6:00p-6:00a, Saturdays, and Sundays)

Sick Leave

Accrued at the rate 5.5 hours of sick leave for each completed biweekly pay period of compensated service
