Public Safety Career Fair - Tuesday, October 7, 2014, 10:00am - 2:00pm   Career Fair display table

The Dane County Sheriff's Office sponsored their first annual Criminal Justice Career Fair on September 23, 2009. The event was a huge success with nearly 30 agencies and colleges on hand to offer opportunities in the field of criminal justice.

Over 500 people attended the one-day event at the Exhibition Hall of the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI. In addition to watching the numerous demonstrations put on throughout the day, attendees were able to speak with recruiters from criminal justice agencies throughout the state. The event offered a wide array of opportunities for both sworn and civilian careers.

We are happy that in 2013, we expanded to a Public Safety Career Fair.  It was liked by all and it gave everyone in public safety the opportunity to network and socialize, all while talking with interested candidates.   The 2014 Career Fair is no different.  It will include, as always, criminal justice agencies and schools that offer criminal justice courses/opportunities.  In addition, we are proud to invite fire departments, EMS, military, more federal agencies, more dispatch centers and more court services.  Welcome to all our new participating agencies and schools!
